Trusted Pregnancy Guidance from a Physician Who Has Walked Beside Thousands of Families
For more than 35 years, I had the privilege of caring for women through one of life’s most meaningful journeys—pregnancy. During my career as an obstetrician, I delivered babies, celebrated joyful moments with families, and helped families navigate the joys, questions, and unexpected challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.

One lesson became clear after caring for thousands of expectant mothers:
every pregnancy is unique, but nearly every parent asks the same question at some point:
“Is this normal?”
That simple question inspired everything I write.
Medicine Explains the Body. Compassion Reassures the Heart.
Medical information alone is rarely enough.
Pregnancy also brings uncertainty, fear, excitement, hope, and countless questions that don’t always fit neatly into a medical textbook.
My goal is to explain complex medical topics in plain language while providing the calm reassurance that every expectant family deserves.
Whether you’re wondering about morning sickness, your baby’s development, labor, recovery, or the emotional challenges of pregnancy, I want you to feel informed—not overwhelmed.
The Your Pregnancy MD Series
The Your Pregnancy MD books provide week-by-week guidance throughout pregnancy with practical answers to the questions families ask most often.
The series combines decades of clinical experience with clear explanations that help parents understand what’s happening to both mother and baby during every stage of pregnancy.
Pregnancy: Love, Body, Spirit
Pregnancy changes more than the body.
It also changes the heart.
The Pregnancy: Love, Body, Spirit series was written for women who desire both trustworthy medical guidance and biblical encouragement during pregnancy.
Rather than separating medicine and faith, these books recognize that many families want both accurate medical information and hope rooted in Scripture.
EXHAUSTED: Emotional Wellness
Over the years I also came to appreciate another reality.
Many women continue caring for everyone around them long after pregnancy ends.
Parents, caregivers, spouses, and helpers often carry invisible emotional burdens that few people recognize.
The EXHAUSTED series was created to help readers understand anxiety, burnout, emotional overload, people-pleasing, and the hidden emotional labor that so many experience.
My Commitment to You

Whether you’re expecting your first baby, growing your family, or simply looking for reliable answers, I’m honored to be part of your journey.
